Before you kick, you announce how many shots you'll need. That announcement is the Call — and it changes everything.
Match your call
Land the ball in exactly the shots you announced and you shave a point off your score.
Miss your call
Overshoot your promise and you pay for it with a penalty point. Confidence has a price.

No call, no bonus, no risk. But where's the glory in that?

Pure footgolf. No calls, no bonuses — count your kicks to the target and the lowest total takes it. The quickest way to get a round moving.

The signature mode. Announce your kicks before you play the target: land it exactly and a point comes off, overshoot and you pick up a card. Nerve beats power.

Your real chance of converting a kick at each distance, built from the targets you have actually measured. While your sample is small it is blended with the community average, so early numbers stay honest instead of flattering.

One match between Monday and Sunday keeps the flame alive. Miss a week and it goes out — but finish a match with a friend before the deadline and it burns again, streak intact.
A gold spark marks a revived week.

Good questions, straight answers
What is free-range footgolf?+
A precision game with a football, played on improvised targets — a bin, a bench, a tree — instead of a course. Fewest kicks to the target wins the hole. Taka is the app that scores it.
Is Taka free?+
Yes. The base version is completely free, with no ads. An optional Taka Pro tier may arrive later, but the core game stays free.
Are the stakes real gambling?+
No — and that's a hard rule. Forfeits ("ardoises") are strictly symbolic: a coffee, a round, carrying the bags. Organising money bets through the app is forbidden by the terms of use.
Do I need an account or an internet connection?+
You can start in guest mode without giving an e-mail address; a full account unlocks friends, leagues and nearby players. No signal needed on the pitch: rounds are recorded offline and sync to your account when you're back online.
Which languages does it speak?+
Six: French, English, Spanish, German, Portuguese and Italian. You can switch language at any time in the app.
Where does my data go if I delete the app?+
Deleting the app doesn't delete your account — your matches and progression wait for you there. To erase everything, request account deletion in Settings → Privacy: after a short cancellation window it's permanent, and you can export your data first.
